Re: Snowpalypse in Washington

It's a mess, Nero! Worst storm I remember, and I was born here. Everything closed, they're warning people not to drive. No plow yet on my street - a bus route!

Here's a pic from the porch steps about 10 am....

Re: Snowpalypse in Washington

It's a wet snow, Nero, and thousands are without power now ... my worst nightmare! It's beginning to taper off a bit now, should be over by about 10 pm.

Re: Snowpalypse in Washington

I'll never complain about our snow again after seeing what you have to contend with, Eileen

I hope you don't lose your power, take great care and stay warm. Have you got a flask where you can keep a hot drink to hand in case of power failures?

Re: Snowpalypse in Washington

I think of you when this comes on our TV news DM.
You should be comfortable with all the warm thoughts coming your way
I sincerely hope you keep your power. As you say, this, as all things, will pass.

The wet snow you have now is the type we always have. Not easy to deal with in any depth, so maybe we are entitled to make a fuss even when we have 4-5"

Very best of warm wishes. Keep posting or we will be worried!

Re: Snowpalypse in Washington

I've been so worried about you Eileen, glad to hear you are ok.

We had 13 inches and expect another BIG storm in four days but nothing like yours. Hope your electric stays on, that is half the battle.

Hugs, Joan
