Bitter person

In my life time I meet not many but a few real bitter people , myself find them to be the jealous sort as well , and lonely in most cases , have you come across a real bitter person , or have one become a thorn in your side

Re: Bitter person

My ex daughter in law is a very bitter person. After my son and her divorced she did her best to turn the children against him and tried to stop them visiting me but thankfully she didn't succeed. She remains bitter to us even after 10years.

Re: Bitter person

That's very sad Enfys. These people only damage themselves more in the long run.

Re: Bitter person

Bitterness is generally a defence mechanism where someone has never learned to trust others.

Re: Bitter person

I honestly don't recall ever meeting that type of person. I must have been lucky.

Re: Bitter person

I feel for anyone who feels bitter. It can't make them happy. Its a waste of energy. God love them.

Re: Bitter person

I think my sister is a bit bitter she finds it hard to forgive our parents and has never really moved on it has ruined her life though as her hoarding and drinking has left her alone and unhappy. When we see her now she is increasingly sounding very bitter about what she has missed out on.

I know plenty of moaning people - but no bitter ones.

Sometimes it's all to do with anxiety and depression etc and a vicious circle sadly.
