Good in the mornings - or not?

Apparently 73% of us Brits struggle to get out of bed in the morning - with almost half of us reaching straight for the 'snooze' button.

How do you fare in the mornings? Are you fresh as a daisy, or does it take you half the morning to wake up and get going?
How do you react when the alarm goes off?

I'm a night person as I've always worked the graveside shift so early mornings aren't for me!

Re: Good in the mornings - or not?

I'm a morning person, I get up at 6.30am every morning even though I don't work any more, don't need any alarms either, and on Thursdays and Saturday I am up at 5am, my husband makes sure that I get up on those two days. I go to bed quite early.

I'm afraid I'm in the 73% bracket Mups, I'd make up about 70% of that figure all by meself.

Oh I can't help it Mups but I do love my morning sleep, especially in the cold winter mornings when the frost is on the edges of the windows and I'm listening to the poor workers trying to start up their cars outside, Monday mornings are best because you always hear them cursing at their cars. So what I earned it I'm retired.

Re: Good in the mornings - or not?

In my younger days I'd do anything for an extra hour in bed but nowadays I get quite easily with the alarm - sometimes I even wake & get up before it! I'm a night owl too - never go to bed till after midnight.

You just don't need so much sleep when you get older..
