Oh it's a big deal here in this house when the internet is down, what with the two teenage grandsons and the wife doing her puzzles they are only fit to be tied. Now me I'm old fashioned and can take it or leave it, always the TV/Radio or a book to pass the time, I think we should do our best never to become too dependant on things, they always let us down at some time or other, God help us all if electricity went off for a few days, we've got too used to everything working from it and those who control the energy love it that way, they have us all by the short and curlies and can charge what they like for making us squeal.

I don't think we are too obsessed obviously when we have it we use it but we all go on holidays and take time away from it and don't notice we miss it. Phones are not very important to us either only my husband has a smart phone and then only for work, rest of us have very basic phones.Electricity would be a big thing for us as we cook now all electric and our gas boiler needs electricity to work too.
