Ruth Rendell

Ruth Rendell, AKA Barbara Vine, has died aged 85. She wrote over 60 novels and was probably best known as the creator of Inspector Wexford.

Loved her books and the TV series of Wexford. RIP Barbara, another talent gone.

Heard about her a lot. Didn't read her books but it makes you think
how great some people are that they can capture so many and their
imagination by writing something down.
Did laugh about her life story. Seemingly she was a reporter for the
Chingford Post. She was sacked after writing a item about a occasion
in Essex. She didn't attend and the awful thing was that one of the
speakers at this conference died during his speech. Which would have been a headline and scoop had she been there in person.
Made me laugh anyway.
She then decided to write novels and we all know what happened
then.

Yes, i've always been a fan of hers and have read almost everything she's written.
