Re: Craft Shows on TV
Odd items to put on a craft show, I doubt if folk could make those things at home, you'd have to find a class doing those things because of the equipment needed and good luck finding one of those! Leather work would be more suitable. I liked Kirstie Alsop's programmes you could always find something simple to copy.Re: Craft Shows on TV
My hubby's a dab hand at making things with wood, he made his Mum and Dad an all in one love seat with table, and me some lovely flower planters and a fold out bench and table. He's sold a lot of Bird boxes at the Car Boot we go to. Also he's re-fitting the Van out with wood and going to do some welding underneath as it's an old modelRe: Craft Shows on TV
My Mum did a lot of crafts shows before her hands got too arthritic and her eyes let her down. She always had an inventive mind and was very good with her hands - Dad was too. Dad once made the first model of "Supercar" in Perspex (do you remember Lady Penelope?) many, many years ago. I remember we got tickets to go and see it as an Ice Show afterwards.Re: Craft Shows on TV
Lady Penelope Creighton Ward, ooooh will that be all, thank you very much madam.Re: Craft Shows on TV
I do like to see these kinds of programmes, always enjoy seeing gifted people who use their creative skills, ive been trying to recall a bloke who had a series on TV about DIY quite a few years back, very entertaining for all the wrong reasons he was a car crash waiting to happen.Re: Craft Shows on TV
Well we've just watched those craftsmen making things, i've had to come back on site now as i'm nodding off, nobody speaks on the programme, they just make things and it drags on a bit. The finished articles are very impressive but it takes them so long to make... zzzzz
