I know we have had 'books to film' 'films we like' but if you could only pick one and it be the one you like best, what one would it be.

That's a really difficult one - trying to pick my all time favourite film. Probably a boring choice but might have to be "The Sound of Music". Must have watched it about a zillion times

The Third Man - There's so much about the film I could write about, but really it's that last scene that does it for me. No dialogue but if you ever want to know what the word 'love' really means just watch this film and make sure no one disturbs you in that final scene.

Lonesome Dove, . . with Robert Duvall, Tommy Lee Jones and Danny Glover, . . the best western ever made IMO.

Can't decide between Fiddler on the Roof and The Green Mile. I think it has to be the Green Mile.

Cleopatra, saw it at the Dominian Theatre in Tottenham Court Road with a brand new boyfriend. Decided that Liz Taylor was the most beautiful woman in the world and that I looked a little like her ( I wish) Pretty unforgetable

As it happens Cassablanca was my second choice People tend to take the mickey a lot but when you dig deeper you'll see that the story lines (There was more than one) were good. I'd like to see a film made in the last twenty years that was half as good.
