First wild flower this year
Coltsfoot. My son took me over to the little pond I like so much and found this bright flower.

Something else we have in common, Coltsfoot is about the only flower we have out at the moment, certainly hardy little plants.

My Nan used to send me to collect Coltsfoots to make wine, they were then laid on large trays to dry filling the room with sunshine.
The lane here is full of violets just now, so pretty...
