Is it just me?
Read in the paper today that around £350,000 of NHS funding is spent on tattoo removal on those patients who are "traumatised" by their skin scribbles. Whilst I don't care a hoot if people decide to ink their loves and emotions on their skin I find it hard to reconcile this with those folk who have been denied life-lengthening drugs because they live on the opposite side of the road to a NHS health authority who will pay for it!This isn't a rant about tattoos just a thread about barmy situations in our society ! ( I hope!)

Another Daily Wail article I imagine.Tattoo removals are rarely available on the NHS, for example, if a person no longer likes their tattoo.
In rare cases, cosmetic surgery may be required to protect a person’s health.
The removal of tattoos is regarded as a procedure of low clinical priority and therefore not routinely funded by the Commissioner.
