Re: just one hour

My Nan, she loved the sea and would love to sit there. Would like to hear her advice again and her laughter.

Re: just one hour

I'm happy for the moment being able to sit with my partner and look out onto the sea and just have a good old talk about life in general. It's taken us years to find us. We feel that our life has been a progression towards meeting. If I had just one hour then it would be with him. My sons are having a lovely life with their partners and I know that they are happy. I'm also very lucky to still have my mum and dad.

Re: just one hour

I sat on a bench yesterday with a similar view to this. It would have to be my mum and dad I would choose to sit and chat with and show them photos of family they never got to meet.

Re: just one hour

I find it frustrating at times and wish I could turn the clock back and do things differently

I understand that feeling but worry things could be much worse if I did do things differently, we have no guarantee either way.

Re: just one hour

My Mum and Dad they loved the seaside especially Bridlington. I think the bench would have to be lower down the cliff though for them to sit there, maybe nearer a Tea shop so we could have a cuppa while we were chatting

Re: just one hour

sometimes we take our loved ones for granted and don't tell them how much we care about them before it's too late. Life is full of " if only"..
