Think you might just need a tent as well
heating the outside swimming pool could also be a problem.
In its history it was gutted to stop invading armies from using it as it is not far from the UK south coast

I watched with immense interest the british doco where 'ruth' the house fixer went from stately home to stately home helping them to fix them and bring in the pound notes [do you still have pound notes over there?] - any old how - what I eventually gleaned from the whole series was that there were many neglected castles, mansions, country homes etc that could be bought for a song but the repair and upkeep was crippling - and some of the nerds just wouldn't take her advise and were more worried about were granny had been buried and under which rose bush [don't dig up the rose bushes was one faint cry!]
