My partner order herself a Indian takeaway from our local Indian , the old delivery driver really get on my nerves , if you don't tip him , he knock on your door and ask for a tip , I alway tip people, but really grudge this Indian takeaway delivery driver , myself I won't tip him now just grab the food and say goodnight and slam the door in his face , if I had my way , but my partner alway tells me too ,

He and his sons own the business, plus loads of flats above the restaurant , so he that not short of cash ,

I don't tip as there is a delivery charge which I'm led to believe they get part of? Delivery charges can be as much as £2.50.

I was brought up you don't ask , never have and never will , just find it rude asking for a tip ,

You tip if you're happy with the goods and service. As a coal miner and as a lecturer I was never tipped.

I never have food delivered but would guess it's like hairdressers where I tip because the girl washing hair gets very little wages and she needs the boost. Would never slam the door in anyone's face that's just not nice.

If the delivery driver asks for a tip, you could say" don't go outside without any clothes on as you might get arrested"

That is a very good tip to give someone
