Happy Wednesday Folk.

About to drop off.
We went to see the film "Second best Marigold Hotel" yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it. Don't ask me why as there's hardly any story, just a bunch of old people still getting stuck into life in spite of their advancing years.

Re: Happy Wednesday Folk.

Morning Alan, there was a massive Aurora storm last night, however cloud cover meant no chance of seeing the lights, perhaps some managed to see it.

Patch count at St Marys yesterday turned up 37 species, a few departing geese, but no returning summer visitors yet

Budget day, not expecting anything extra.

Good morning everyone, back to sub zero temperatures this morning, brrrrrr...

It's ten percent day at B&Q so I'll be popping down there later for some paint and a new roller.

I'll watch out for that film on DVD Alan, wwe enjoyed the first one.

Enjoy your day folks

Going to have an eye test for diabetic retinopathy. Won't be able to much for a few hours afterwards as they put drops in to dilate the pupils, which means you can't bear bright light or focus very well. I've learned the simplest thing is just to go home & go to bed till it's worn off
