'Oldie' of the year

It's our old(ie) hero/ine Joanna Lumley for her Gurkha campaign
And Sir Tel (Wogan) was Retirer of the Year and the author PD James was Handbagger of the Year for her radio interview with the BBC Director General (did you hear that - on the Today programme over the xmas to new year period? It was fantastic!)

Joanna deserves to be in the honours list for her sterling campaign on behalf of the Gurkas to whom we owe so much.

No doubt she will be passed over though as she embarrassed the "establishment".

P D James certainly gave him what for!

Come to think of it Azz - talking about the Today programme and Tel Wogan, why haven't we got a site for Radio?

I listen to Radio 4 more than I watch telly!
