A book question.

I’ve just discovered an author called Rosie Goodwin. I was so impressed with the first book of hers that I read that I intend reading them all.
I scoured Amazon and ordered 8 books all by this author. The were £3.99 each – a reasonable price to pay for a paperback – however – there were more of her paperback books priced at £8.99 – I didn’t pay that – too much.

I wonder why some are cheap and others not?

They're all paperback books - all about the same size/length. I just can't understand why some cost twice as much as others.

I looked on ebay but the only cheap ones on there are second hand ... I don't like second hand books.

I've had quite a few second-hand books from Amazon for 1p plus £2.80 p&p and they have been indistinguishable from new ones.

I just look upon them as being as the same as from a library and like Alan I have had some used ones from Amazon too.

Re: A book question.

Newer books cost more as do more popular ones, can be simple as that.
