It will probably feel like we are in Florida.
The fraternity that owns our building is coming out to serve us all breakfast early this morning. Belgian waffles with blue berries or omlets with bacon and sausage, they have never done this before and it is supposed to be because they appreciate us so. It should be the other way around since we appreciate this beautiful building and our super managers. They are going to leave all the new waffle makers and grills for us so we can do the same anytime we like

Still morning here in Florida, so good day to everyone.Yesterday we had heavy rain, lightning and flooding. My yard looked like a lake and the water was high near the little creek beside my house which was rising over the banks. There was a log jammed in it so when that was removed, the water starting flowing and after a couple of hours the soil absorbed the standing water. I could have launched a boat near the creek.
A tornado touched down in a town not too far away, downing trees and destroying some mobile homes.
Today is supposed to be cloudy but warm in the 70's.

G'day all, . . what a day, . . I've done about 100 miles in the car this morning, . . the standard of drivers in the UK is appalling to say the least, . . the worst offenders are the so called professional drivers of commercial vehicles, . . that Glasgow motorway is a pure nightmare, . . mind you, . it is Friday so they're all rushing home for the weekend.|
