Re: Honesty

that's a grey area, sometimes a white lie saves upsetting others so it depends on the situation imo

Usually. Maybe one has to to 'bend' the truth slightly in certain circumstances, but I don't like outright lies at all.

Re: Honesty

What if Honesty meant you could not get Life Assurance, or cost you financially?.

Re: Honesty

Honesty is probably over rated at times, in some circumstances it's better to be kind.

However in regards to a persons employment, honesty is very important in an employee.

Still think I'd be too frightened of possible repercussions through committing fraud to tell any serious porkies Spitty.

Re: Honesty

It's certainly easier to be honest - Liars get themselves all twisted in knots.

Re: Honesty

On a social level honesty is a death sentence..
'does my bum look big in this'?
Say yes and youre doomed.. Men take note.

At work generally yes be honest but not too frank thats the same as social honesty.. Is the boss a d***head?
Answer yes and you will see your P45 before the day is out..

Forms. I hate yes no boxes because often the truth lies inbetween and there is no box for that so ticking either box is a lie. It just depends if you tick the box that gives you the advantage or disadvantage..

Honesty,, if it were only that easy!
