World cup year what's our chances?

hi all
This is my very first thread in this forum
so thought I'd start with a great topic namely Englands chances of actually lifting the trophy in 2010. I personally think that if we could get Rooney a half decent partner we would be quite an impressive team. Anyone got any thoughts or comments. I am a permanent optimist so fingers are crossed again this time round

I remember 1966, I was only 8, best feeling ever, I am footie mad.

just hope he takes Peter Crouch, he add another dimension to the team!

Liverpool were crazy letting him go!

You know I think the previous post says so much about us as a soccer nation. That we are still trading on 1966...?
