Awol

I am going to be semi /awol for a bit, my 1 year old Acer windows 8 has died. I am massively ticked off as I paid nearly 500 bucks for it and only got 12.5 months out of it.

I am using my father's stean driven 8 year old /xp which is too small, and slower than molasses.

I will be back when I get something else. I can not even check my e-mails on this old relic.

Tish if your screen has gone blank and no sound there are websites which
tell you how to get the Acer working again. Just put on your search engine
on your Dads - acer windows 8 died on me? - and you will get lots of reasons why and what to do.
Did you have a guarantee with it? Shame if it was just for a year and you
have gone 6 months over that. You could still try with who you bought it
from and see what they say.
