The Greek singer Demis Roussos has died at the age of 69.
He was well known for his kaftans and his quavering voice but was very popular and sold a lot of records back in the day.

I won a Demis LP on the radio many years ago, wasn't sure what to do with it, then thought of my local cleaners, owned by Greeks, so popped in there - they were pleased to take it .........
He seemed nice enough ........

How many people dressed as Demis Roussos to fancy dress parties when he was popular it was an easy one-just a large kaftan and a beard!!
I too remember Abigail's party-one of the classics.
