Male birth control pill.

I have a question but not for you all to answer but if you could ask 2 males and 2 femails. Did you know that many years ago they developed the male birth control pill from the seeds of the cotton plant. It was not deemd a success as it lowerd the male libido. So; the question is could it have a place in our society?

Many years ago as a psychology undergrad the question of males and females was `trendy`

I raised the question of a male pill-about 95% of women were against it saying they would not trust a male to take it.

I would venture that the percentage won't have changed much OG

Who would trust a man to even take it in the first place, never mind believe one when he said he was actually taking it?

Guinness is the best thing for male birth control, you get into the bed and fall asleep.

Re: Male birth control pill.

TBH I would have trusted my husband to take it but I am not sure I would trust too many men to do so.

Also most men would not accept losing libido to be safe IMO, and we have enough problems with side effects for female pill without taking more chances with a male pill too.

Re: Male birth control pill.

O.K...I was not thinking on this plane based that any unprotected sex these days is asking for trouble unless in a long term relationship. Unwanted pregnancy can be costly to the male (from the lips of one who paid for 20 years yet has no relationship with said child). In fact, the pregnancy could be more of an advantage to the female in some cases. What I had in mind was the lack of drive was more of a benefit than a reason to terminate the idea.
For example; whilst having a stay in Her Majestys Hotel. On a submarine, on active duty, for someone who needs to focus and think outside the box rather than about the box. I did make a big ask and said ask 2 males and 2 females as we are all the other side of this and we can only put ourselfs in this position and it is a changing world out there...
