Hurricane Rachel

Fierce winds howling around the house as I type, many lines and trees down all over the country but the West of Ireland seems to be getting the worst of it. It’s supposed to die down later, I hope you are all safe and secure folks. How is it were you are?

Re: Hurricane Rachel

It's really bad here in Notts at the moment - tomorrow's our bin day, too... eek it'll be everywhere!! My street doesn't even like leaves or around so it'll upset a few, I reckon!
They'll be out with the sweeping brush, bless 'em.

Re: Hurricane Rachel

Last night was horrendous the wind was far worse than forecast and when I took Chloe out at 10pm it was one step forward then being blown back two and blinded by torrential rain .
Tonight sounds similar.

It could be worse, it could be snow not rain

Re: Hurricane Rachel

Windy last night when I went to bed and I had to lock my window in its part open position.

All quietened down today but still chilly.

I'm so looking forward to the time I can stay indoors for days at a time if weather turns nasty.
