Highs or Lows of 2014

Looking back at 2014, my personal highlight was encountering a pod of 50+ Bottlenose dolphins that spent an hour in the bay.

Watching these beautiful creatures pass by as they slowly swan South and then North again was a delight, being able to let passers by see them through my scope added to the pleasure, many not having seen a Dolphin before.

I guess my high was also my low if that makes sense. I knew I could not afford to stay in a huge house and this little bungalow will get improved over the next couple of years.

But it was the house me and Jenny shared for so long.

Visiting Australia. A high.

Being divorced. A low.

Seeing beautiful scenery on walks. Lots of highs.

My dad being diagnosed with dementia. A low. But also life.

It was a mixed bag year.

low .......leaving a house and village id lived in for 40 years.

high .......visiting my daughter and Grandchildren ,

high .........going to St Pauls and having H.C there .

Nom, never seen more than 5 or 6 dolphins at once, but that is a high every time. Also a high when no. 1 daughter got promoted to Senior Lecturer at Uni . No real lows, but we were pretty busy all year and didn't get as much leisure time as we would have liked.

Here's to lots of 'highs' for everyone in 2015.

Just shows you we all have our highs and lows because that's what life's all about. The lows make you appreciate the highs so very much

High...seeing My eldest Granddaughter graduate with Honours and a PHD.from Strathclyde University

High..knowing My Son (Her Father) has accepted The fact His ex Wife has married again and was friendly with Her Husband and Her at the graduation Party.!!..phew.

Low...worrying if Son would ever recover from a broken heart...another phew! :~)
