Present surprise

Did you get a pressie that truly surprised you .....
I did, opened a package this morning from a friend and she had sent me a biography of Alastair Sim - I am so thrilled with it and it was a total surprise - would love to hear your surprise present ...........

Re: Present surprise

I've not had any presents at all today...

The best one I could have hoped for though came early...

Quite correct, presents are not important.

Without going into details, the one I got cost no money, which made it all the more valuable.

Re: Present surprise

Had some lovely things all hand made which makes it more special for me, and the boys had a special present for Grace - Nate had made a dolls house for her and Jordie had enlisted his regiment into the secret and they have all been making furniture for the little house. Wonderful surprise for her.

Best present for me was a book of promises from Steven, 12 days he will take off when ever I want him too, it's been a bone of contention this year his working 7 days a week so having these 12 days I can have one when ever I want it will mean no more niggles that he is never home when I am and we can do things together sometimes too.

Re: Present surprise

I got far too many presents. People are just too kind. My favourite is an mp3 player to use whilst swimming. I'll get great use from it.

I was just happy to be with my boys today. That would've been enough for me. Its all too materialistic.
