No TV licence

Two excuses given by men to explain why they didn't have a telly licence:

1. I only use it to dry washing on.

2. The tooth fairies brought it when my young son lost a tooth.


I bet these authorities don't half hear some daft excuses!

As i dont have a tv they also hear some rude ones..

I have lived happily without a TV for about 4 years now. I have a monitor and an extensive DVD collection and, as my DVD player is not able to record, I do not need a licence. They write and ask me about it sometimes but, so far, no-one has come to check.

I do have a licence which I've paid by direct debit for years.

I'm sure there will be lots of people who try to avoid paying for one, hoping they'll never get caught

I have no TV license. No excuses, don't need one.

'Free to air' is just that.
