Well-appreciated gift

I think that I've probably mentioned my 12-year-old grandson before who has Asperger's Syndrome plus ADHD so his life is a wee bit complicated, to say the least.

Anyway, he lives in the outback of Devon - a bit isolated - but a few years ago he took up the drums, which is actually VERY good for his co-ordination, good thing for ADHD AND Asperger's Syndrome.

Well, he's done so well that he is in the school orchestra but his problem now is that he has outgrown his kit and needs a bit better.

Somehow, someone got hold of this info and, two days ago, a delivery was made to his home in Devon - an Electronic Drum Kit.

On investigation, by our youngest son, it turned out that this £900 kit was 2nd-hand BUT used only ONCE - at a Pink Floyd concert.

Who sanctioned this we just do not know but we do have one ecstatic 12-year-old boy with a Drum Kit that most would dream of, so we are so very happy for him!

How's that for a Christmas gift?! stevmk2

Re: Well-appreciated gift

I feel I really want to say Thank You to whoever did this but I can't!
Lewis means the world to me - my only grandson.

I can't express my gratitude better - sorry. stevmk2

That's wonderful Steve. Patsy's idea is a good one - also the local rag if you have one.
