Sleep ?

I am not sleeping well at the moment so find myself slightly envious of these people http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...positions.html

Maybe they are dozing because they aren't sleeping well at night

Re: Sleep ?

Psychologist to insomniac-OK we have discussed the issues and I have made some suggestions.

OK Doc what do I do now?

Sleep on them and we can discuss it at our next session.

Re: Sleep ?

I really don’t know how people can sleep in those positions, if I’m not comfortable I just won’t go to sleep, I can’t. What I do now when I can’t nod off is listen to audio books with a cordless headset on, works best for me when a lady is doing the reading, maybe that’s a throwback to your mothers voice who knows.
Just remembered my Aunt who lived in Los Angeles California, she was married to a chap and he used to fall asleep propped up against the wall when he came in from work, he’d be waiting for his dinner then bang he was fast asleep by the time she served it up, she sent us a snap of him asleep at the wall many years ago now, and I remember thinking to meself “Don’t ever think of emigrating to the states Jem, the work there is a killer” Had that photo been published it would have solved the overcrowing problem there overnight.

Re: Sleep ?

Sleep? What's that when it's at home?!

You know that Shakespeare quotation, 'sleep: perchance to dream'? Well mine is 'bed: perchance to sleep'.

Re: Sleep ?

I find it difficult to even have a nap during the day. I now never have a snooze in the chair after dinner. Those days are long gone. I toss and turn during the night. I got up 6 times for the toilet this morning for some unknown reason. My sleep pattern is awful at the moment.
