Top of the Tree

What do you put on the top of your Christmas Tree?

My first Christmas on my own and I've bought a new tree and some baubles. Just put the tree up and realised I haven't got anything to put on the top of the tree i.e. fairy or star Do you put the same thing every year on the top of your tree and what is it?

Re: Top of the Tree

I don't have a tree to hang anything on.

If anyone is short of an angel to hang on their trees I am free at Christmas

Re: Top of the Tree

We have an angel many years old, every year she needs surgery before being put up, she lost her legs in a terrible bauble accident in 1989, but that hasn't stopped her being a useful member of the Christmas decorations box. One of her arms came loose last Christmas in a skirmish with Betty puppy but we managed to bandage her together when we get her out this year will check to see if she needs further help.
