Phil Hughes

Terrible freak accident to take the life of this 25 year old batsman. Speeding cricket ball hit him in the neck and he has died from this injury ...... very sad

Re: Phil Hughes

Being in Australia at the moment and watching TV, you can imagine how sad everyone is here and over the world. A tragic accident and the loss of such a young life.

Re: Phil Hughes

Very sad news my husband and stepson were keen cricketers (the latter playing at county level) and I used to worry about 'bouncers'.

Re: Phil Hughes

Poor lad. Such a terrible freak accident. Not even hit the headgear
just straight into his neck under his ear. At least he didn't suffer
it was lights out but such a shame to happen to such a young lad.
RIP Phil.

Terrible loss of a young life.R.I.P.

The bowler must be going through hell, knowing he was the one who bowled that ball.
