The noise

I am having a fireplace knocked out ready for a wood burner,my last house was huge so there was room to escape but this is just a small bungalow. It started around 09.30 and is expected to go on all day.

Yes, know the feeling - no hiding place!! We had a year of it when we moved here and being a bungalow there's nowhere to go - apart from the garage...

I know it has to be done and it will be worth it but after 5 hours of noise I can feel myself getting irritated

Just half an hour left then it`s done-talk about the longest day. Not the chap`s fault there are hard bricks but I so want to see him go and let me have some quiet
