Surprise party.........well sort of
Tonight I realised just how lovely some of our neighbours and friends are. Sitting here in my pjs watching Star Trek and I hear someone knocking at the door and I hear singing.I go to look and there are some of our friends and neighbours carrying balloons, bottles of sparkling wine and banners, some of them were in the pjs and dressing gowns too. I was told midnight was officially the start of my birthday so they thought they´d surprise me..........well they most certainly did, but it was lovely of them. Evidently Mr Clumsy was in on this and had left the gates unlocked for them.
I also got another lovely surprise today, my son and his wife sent me a beautiful bouquet of flowers which came with a lovely glass vase, a bottle of champagne and a box of chocolates. A day early but they didn´t know if I would be in tomorrow, or today as it now is. Party time later today at 2 p.m. if anyone can make it
