My husband has just let me know, so sorry to hear this sad news.

I will always remember him as a rough and ready type of chap.

Sad today to hear the death of Warren Clarke.
He was a great actor and normally played the
Northern type of character. Which was good for
me coming from Yorkshire. He was born in Oldham
in Lancashire.
Loved him in Dalziel and Pascoe a great TV detective
series. Mind you he did smoke and drink in that
programme and the part where he was told to
stop smoking and drinking Whiskey seemed to be
a truth he might take on board.
RIP lad you were great and we will miss you on TV.

p.s. I am 2 months older than he was so hope I last
abit longer

I have to confess I never watched D & P, and couldn't say I was ever a fan of his, but it's still sad to see a long established and much loved actor pass away. RIP.

I remember him from "Jewel in the Crown" and "Blackadder". Excellent actor - R I P !
