Open road, beautiful scenery. What more could you ask for?

I never was a petrol head, driving was often frustrating and not relaxing even though it got me to destinations i could find peace and quiet.

I would definately enjoy driving on this road, however my eyes would be off the road far to often checking out the sights and wildlife.

Yes - good point. Used to enjoy a drive out, not any more

Ah yes, the open road and the beautiful scenery, like that old slogan in the days when motoring was a pleasure, the kids and mam and dad singing in the car "The Esso sign means happy motoring..." all you get now out of motorists is moaning and cursing, thank God I never learned how to drive.

The weather was often like that. I was only there 5 years and we had 3 days when it was sunny
