WE used to go see him in a local pub when he was Shane Fenton and the Fentones. Before that he was Bernard Jewry.

I saw him in 1965 as Shane Fenton. Got his autograph and he used to dye his hair blonde in those days.
I always thought he came from Mansfield but seems he
was born in Muswell Hill.
RIP Lad. We had a good bop to his music in the 60's.
So many of the old rockers going this year. Shame.

He performed in our town for the Olympic Torch relay 2 years ago, on a stage in the market place. We had a brilliant time singing and dancing along. RIP
