Nosehair Plucking

Women who pluck their eyebrows know it doesn't hurt after awhile because the skin toughens up.
Would the same thing happen with nosehairs? Or is it because inside the nose is different from the browline? I pulled a nosehair once & holy you know what.....it HURT & eyes watered!

I stupidly tried it once even though I don't have any visible hairs and boy did it hurt!

A Gentleman has his hairdresser to trim eyebrows, remove those annoying hairs that grow on one`s ears. And a small vibrator to stick up his nose. I`m still one for little things re personal hygeine-well OK vanity

I don't think your barber has quite understood where you are supposed to stick vibrators.

Re: Nosehair Plucking

I used to pluck my eyebrows when younger but found that as I became
older the hair wasn't as thick anywhere on my body. So don't have that
nose problem. I do remember though my Dad used to have nose hair and
he used to cut it with some small scissors.

Re: Nosehair Plucking

I do have nose hair and pluck it out it's a bit eye watering doing so but nothing compared to childbirth.

I am hairy I guess this goes with having very thick head hair and if the next ice age came I would probably be one of the survivors

I have nose hairs and have to pluck, also. I think it's the lack of female hormones and the male ones taking over after a certain age.

Yeah!! it hurts!

Re: Nosehair Plucking

I have been pleasantly plucking away nasal hair for several years now and I can honestly say that it does get less painful with time, I use a fine nosed pliers, better for gripping, tweezers are inclined to slip, however don’t believe the fairytale that once they are plucked out from the roots they won’t grow again, they do grow again but not as quickly as when cut with a scissors or clippers.

Re: Nosehair Plucking

Nothing wrong with removing unwanted hair, companies make huge profits from unwanted hair so called remedies.
