Happy Saturday Folk.

Pulled, cooked and pickled some beetroot yesterday, then had beetroot sandwiches for my tea........yum, yum.

Good morning everyone, really blowy here but the rain hasn't arrived yet so hopefully we may get the dogs out in the dry if we hurry.

A relaxing day on the cards today, a couple of hours with the papers this morning and maybe a film this afternoon methinks.

I used my surplus beetroot for chutney this year Alan which makes a real nice change wiith cheese or cold meat.

Morning all, heavy rain forecast today still dark and dry at the moment. Quiet day planned with some self punishment listening to the Swansea V Newcastle game.

It was a not too bad day here for the north. Had the firepit going tonight for a bit while we still can!

Morning all. A walk up the road to get my paper, and maybe another pint of milk. (Wow, exciting, eh?!)

Then down to the allotment before trading shed closes to get our Chair to co sign a cheque. (Yep, another exciting piece of action.)

As I have half the contents of my lounge cupboard out, I might try again to weed out rubbish items for chucking out, or recycling/selling. I need to be able to access the float valve to stop the over flow, until Monday afternoon, so not putting it back before then.

Looking dull out there. Hope it rains.

Good morning all. I love that picture Alan - it's so beautiful.

It's very dull & damp looking here. A bit of housework - a trip to Sainsburys - and a meal out with family tonight are my plans for today. I'm pleased to say my recent spotty rash & headache have gone - I feel almost normal -Hurrah!
