Good morning everyone, it's a bit blowier out there today so it looks like leaf sweeping up season will soon be upon us...

I've got some logs to split today and my Mum is visiting us for lunch so Mrs P is cooking a chicken roast

Good morning everybody... I'm off on a short ramble later this morning. After having my leg in plaster for six weeks it's lovely to be walking again. Hoping to have a look round a local garden centre on the way back.
It's also my grandson Josh's 2nd birthday today. We're meeting him & the rest of the family for a meal tonight. It's at one of those child friendly pubs - they have a play centre attached for children. He should have fun playing in there with his sister & cousins.

It was a miserable day here, wet, windy, and cold.
Got all the old towels out again for dog drying!

I'm babysitting the builder over the allotment this morning, just for a couple of hours, then someone will take over. Might try and muster up the energy to do a bit of work there afterwards, like weeding or something.
