Sleeping /Getting Up

Do you burn the candle at both ends?

I do somewhat, getting to sleep about 11:45 pm & getting up at 6:45 am.

Yes, I'm afraid I do AC. Wish I didn't wake up so early in a morning though. One of these days I'm coming to wake up in a tree singing the dawn chorus with the birds lol.

Re: Sleeping /Getting Up

I go to bed at 10pm and get up, wide awake, at 4.30am. I then have an half hour nap after lunch.

Re: Sleeping /Getting Up

I'm guilty of this, but only at weekends. I insist on a regular bedtime during weekdays as it will hit me hard if I don't. But come Friday, I'm up as late as I can stay awake and up again early in the morning. I can't seem to lay in anymore like I used to. Daylight is too valuable to waste.

Re: Sleeping /Getting Up

I go to bed about midnight - and I am up at 5:30 am. I like to go for a walk then - the air is still clean, no traffic, no noise, no people around. I usually walk through a small woodland or along the river side - it is lovely at that time of day.

Re: Sleeping /Getting Up

I seem to be getting later and later to bed nowadays. Then I always have a read of a nice book before I settle down too. I sleep like I've been drugged, always have done, and very little wakes me as a rule. It takes me ages to come round properly in the mornings!
