Taken in the gardens at Calke Abbey.
Another tree pruned yesterday......only 7 more to go then I can think of starting my winter digging.

Good morning all, still very mild here and not so foggy today.

We are food shopping this morning as we are hosting a birthday lunch at home for our good friends who live across the road.

Lovely picture again. Do you know what that originally was??

Our lovely weather has departed, and the true September as showed its face - wet, windy, and getting colder.
It's nearly time to start the wood-stove, but we're trying to hold off!!
Cos once it's on, that's about 7 months of hauling wood inside!

Good morning folks, grey and damp here today, much like the last few days, been down the coast looking for migrant birds a few times, and enjoyed some sightings of rare species. Hoping for more wind and rain along with Easterlies for the next 7 weeks, my idea of a holiday.

This morning at 4am until 6.30am we had big thunder storms, thunder, lightening, pouring of rain, now the sun is out.

Off to do my cleaning jobs soon.
