Re: Your oldest Possession

I still have the chair from my desk and chair as a child. Probably 50 years old. Solid wood. Must have been expensive for my parents at the time. I won't part with it.

Re: Your oldest Possession

My house is my oldest possession. One part is 250 yrs old and the 'new' part 150 yrs old.

I haven't inherited anything from anybody but stuff I've had from new include a Jones's electric sewing machine - 50 yrs and it still works.

Also I've got my Queen Elizabeth Coronation mug - 61 years.

I think the oldest thing I have is an American 5 Dollar gold piece, dated 1850, I also have my grandfathers silver watch but that’s not as old as the coin.

Re: Your oldest Possession

I have a double Albert watch chain that I believe belonged to my great-grandfather.
I also have a carved walking stick dated 1888.
