Do you tend to be guided by your head or your heart when making decisions?

Oo, er. That's a bit like the gut instinct question. I think it depends on the sort of decision needing to be made. For me, probably mainly head, but sometimes heart...Any the wiser?

I hate making decisions and agonise over many of them for days looking at the consequences from every angle so I guess they are made with my head

If I make a decision with my heart I often have to change it for a head decision when I've had a think!

Always weigh things up Mups - like shall I 'stay' up tonight or go back to bed
Decision - go back to bed, if I don't sleep - get up - stay up .......

This was topic on the radio the other night, i tend to judge people quickly and often find my first impressions are correct. Heart or head im not sure, but i can be wrong so its not 100%, not sure i believe in womens intuition, they seem to make as many mistakes as men do. I try to let my head guide me when making a descision, but often let my emotions rule on passionate subjects.

Once upon a time, way back when, I went with my heart.
But experience quickly taught me I needed to involve the old head more!!
The two of them together have served me well since.

One decision was from the heart. In 1984 I noticed a new lady at Italian class,we got chatting. Turned out she was married but not happy.

I was single. Had she lived it would be our 29th Wedding Anniversary this Saturday.

I like to mull things over before I make a big decision so I suppose
that the head fighting the heartstrings.
Lovely heart decision you made OG sad at the end though.
I know the saying goes you need to see everything from both sides.
I personally see about 20 sides sometimes unless my mind is going bonkers

I too agree that it depends on the decision that has to be made. If you have to make a quick decision for what ever reason then you have to go with it.

I think the more time that you have to mull over something the harder the decision is to make.
