Gut instinct

Do you go by your gut instinct? Or do you go with the flow and so be it? I go by mine. If something doesn't sound right, then deep down I have a feeling that I just go with.

My partner has studied psychology and apparently gut instinct come from previous experiences we've had and now know it's not the right/wrong thing to do.

I believe that to be true. If your gut instinct isn't right, then don't do/do it.

Yes Patsy I think it's best to go with your gut instinct. It's not telling you anything for nothing. It can be difficult not to be swayed sometime. But it more often than not makes sense to go by it.

I trust my gut instinct and it has worked up to now.

I have had gut instinct on winning the lottery, but it has not happened so i gave up

I don't believe in 'gut instinct' sometimes our decision making process is correct sometimes it isn't .

Yes - I listen to my gut instinct if it tells me something is wrong..

Yep, agree - what on earth is 'Gut Instinct'? Reptilian left over fight or flee? Nonsense, as you say, you make good choices, you make bad choices and you make indifferent choices.

If you don't know what it is - how can you probably disregard something you have 'not' experienced ......
