Just been announced that Ian Paisley has died aged 88.

I think there will be a few mixed reactions to this one.

I must admit I try not to get involved in discussions on religion or politics.

But the man has gone so RIP

I would have said 'Good Riddance' but it appears the intolerant bigot mellowed in the later years and joined in power sharing talks (perhaps from fear of irrelevance?)

He brings no good memories to me. He was just a brick on the Irish cycleway to peace.
