Good morning everyone, still warm and settled here, what a smashing September it's turning out to be...

I am going over to cut Mum's lawns today and then taking some bags of stuff to the council recycling depot.... all in all another thrilling day in retirement..

Another half decent day here.
Still getting tomatoes and strawberries out of the garden, but they're coming to an end now. Will pull the last of the carrots, etc. tomorrow.
Sure wish we could order an extension of summer, just with mild temperatures!

Good morning everyone,

Thanks Barry for doing the honours again, I hope Alan is having a good few days away, should get some nice pictures when he comes back.

Rather clouded over here this morning but hope it will be nice again later. I bought a load of Daffodils and Narcissi bulbs yesterday and some Sweet Williams so hope to get them in today.

Good morning all. I'm off to the gym for an hour later this morning to see what I can do.
Looking forward to going to Mansfield Palace theatre tonight to see a group called 'Let's hang on' They're a Franki Valli & the Four Seasons tribute group. Saw them a few years ago - they sound just like the real thing..

Good morning everyone. Another beautiful day if not slightly chilly first thing.
Off into the city today to meet my Sister. We have both been busy so
apart from phone calls and Skype haven't had a coffee together for ages.
I am off to Mansfield on Saturday Carol. I like doing a look around and a
shop then I go to the bingo for my lunch and a game of course.
Love the train ride there.
