On the river Nene.
It's that day again, when I hire a narrow boat for the day and the whole family go boating for the day............great fun!

Good morning everyone, a lovely start here with clear skies, perfect for your birthday jolly Alan, have a great day out..

We are walikng in Sherwood Forest first thing with the dogs and then we are visiting a garden centre to get some plants for Mrs. P's winter hanging baskets.

Morning all. Have a great day, Alan. Hope the weather stays nice for you.

Been awake since 3.15 this morning! Just had a cuppa and first tablets, and will stay in bed a bit longer. Watched Dr Who and Friday's Caught Red Handed from that time. Usually the tv has me closing my eyes, but not this time.

Very achey from yesterday so a quiet day for me today.

I have the family coming for lunch so am bustling around getting it all ready

We are having roast leg of welsh lamb with garlic and rosemary and I have made a chocolate gateau and blackcurrant and apple crumble .
