...yes thank goodness I like 'normal' and being retired normal doesn't mean returning to work .

Re: Christmas

Hope you had a good one too Suki

We had the family here over Christmas which was hard work but well worth it - so nice to see 3 generations together.

Normal... I have to admit, taking all the decs back down and being able to clean the house without all the ostacles, I am very much looking forward too

Re: Christmas

As we were spending christmas at our sons we put up minimal decorations -so in an hour [at a guess] we should be back to normal.

Re: Christmas

Hi Suki - thanks for the good wishes
I'm like everyone else - yes, that was very nice but let's get the decs down soon, revert to eating sausages and look forward to spring!
Never satisfied, are we?

Re: Christmas

Hi Suki, hope you had a good Christmas

Not back to normal yet, I still have a house guest here....... and with heavy snow forecast for tomorrow, he may be here longer

We will be having another family get together on Friday ...... then I will be able to start thinking of a big clear up!

Re: Christmas

Oh well weve got New Years Eve to look forward to. We had a very quiet Christmas and I'll be taking the decs down whilst my husband is still off from work, he'll put them all in the shed for me in the garden.
