Having the central heating on in August?
I feel quite chilly this morning ... Anybody else had theirs on yet?

Good heavens no . I was born in Derbyshire and am made of tough stuff having lived in a house with ice on the inside of widows and a loo half a mile down the garden .
No heating on here until November then only at night if it is very cold.

I have not put the heating on as yet but came very close last night as it was so cold.

Then had to remind myself that I could go and put a pair of socks and a jumper on. Well I am originally from the north and it used to be a lot colder there.

I wouldn't dream of putting the heating on in August
I'm still in short sleeve tops!

I would probably resort to a cardi or fleece if I was that cold

Certainly not indoors with all my hot flushes!

The bus had it on full blast on Wednesday. I had to stand away from it.

We had the gas fire on yesterday evening but if it keeps this cold weather up the CH will be going on. I'm no Meg, I like to be comfortable.

No Central Heating yet, but I had to retreat from the chilled area of Sainsbury's yesterday evening, I was shivering, mind you I was in short sleeves.

No way! October is the earliest ours goes on. The gas bills are high enough as it is.

It's as well to wear trousers also when you're in the region of the frozen food Spitty.
