I was particularly pleased with the zoom shoots (on highest setting) that picked up the Docklands, and in one photo wind turbines that not only were invisible to the naked eye but that I didn't even know were out there.
I knew going to Ally Pally would give an opportunity to try out all settings, and the ducks also were very willing subjects. After a few shots I put it back up to highest setting of megapixels and could see the difference.
Was hoping to go to ZSL London today but woke up a bit too late, so might try tomorrow. So looking forward to trying it out on the animals which may be far away.
Oh, and I really must now go back to Monkey World...they were always a long way away, lol!
Decided not to buy another lens just yet, at nearly £200 a pop. Still not 'paid' for this yet. Ooops. (Visa credit)
When we go to Lytham St Annes there is a pond with ducks in and this is one high light of going there to go and feed them. We even took proper duck food which we got from a garden centre with us.
