Out late

I went into Torrevieja late last night with friends. We got there just before 11 p.m. Every car park was full, we were lucky, we were waved into a space someone was just coming out of. Every bar/restaurant alongside the harbour and on the paseo was full, at midnight people were still looking for tables. The paseo was choc a bloc with people, many crowding round the entertainers, magicians, fire eaters, etc. The night time trinket market was packed solid. The midnight temperature was 27.5C.

I bet there was a lovely atmosphere there, Loretta It looks so colourful all lit up too...

Great pictures as always Loretta. Plenty of fun going on there, great to see so many happy people having a good time, looks like Spain is on the up again after the bad financial years, things are looking up over here too, thank God.

Thank you all. It certainly beats a wet night in Chesterfield Linden Tree, no drunks and no fighting, there always seems to be a lovely friendly atmosphere. It´s certainly very busy here this year Jem, the beaches are packed, the restaurants are packed and the supermarket queues are long. We tend to not go far at all during July and August, the N332 is a nightmare, nothing but holiday traffic bumper to bumper for mile after mile, easier to stay around home territory. I can think of worse places to be than here.
