Are there any blue vegetables ?

Are there any blue vegetables in the World? and if there are and you eat a lot of them do they turn your urine blue like beetroot turns it red? I ate a lot of beetroot today at lunchtime, that's what made me ask the question. I do know for sure that Guinness don't turn it black, even an awful lot of it.

There's a potato called "Edsell's Blue" but as to the question of what it does to one's urine - pass!

Apparently, there used to be blue carrots before the 17th century - now they grow in southern Europe and Asia.

I have seen the 'bluey purple' carrots at the farmers market and don't fancy them, my brain tells me they should be orange so won't taste right .

Purple sprouting broccoli is quite blue

Is Guinness a vegetable Jem?

I grew some purple podded French beans this year, they turn green when boiled, but the pan goes black.

When I was a nipper I emptied a bucket of blue ink onto the headmasters rose bed (don't ask me why) and the roses turned blue. Sorry to digress.

footnote...... Google blue vegetables...dozens of them exist with apparently super benefits to health.

That's blue covered, now for Red, Orange, Yellow, Green ,Indigo & Violet
